The Cobb and Co Museum in Toowoomba was opened in 1987 when the Queensland Museum was looking for space to display its catalogue of horse-drawn vehicles.  The Museum also hosts an interactive Science festival.

Today the students discovered Toowoomba "Now and Then" learning how things such as technology has changed over the years, and "Swamp to City" which teaches the students who were the traditional owners of the land, and learning about some of the historical Toowoomba landmarks.

They also discovered a very large friend outside!

The Thai students have been enjoying settling into life in the Boarding House and attending classes - the week is going so quickly!  On Tuesday the girls enjoyed visiting a number of the beautiful parks in Toowoomba.

Wednesday the group visited Highfields Pioneer Park for some Aussie history and an Indigenous workshop (learning about the Didgeridoo and throwing a Boomerang).

The College warmly welcomed 22 students and 2 teachers visiting from Materdei School in Bangkok this morning.  The group will be staying in the Boarding House.  They enjoyed a swim in the College pool when they arrived on Sunday afternoon.

This morning they were refreshed and ready to begin their 2 week stay.  Today they will explore the College and meet their "buddies" who will accompany them from class to class.

Mrs Meibusch will be teaching the girls Intensive English as part of their visit to the College.
